Dark ambience that oozes and hovers in the genral vicinity of Paul Schutze's paranoia inducing soundscapes.. Highlights include the eerie synth that sounds like a nymph cooing in "Laudanum" and "Sleep in the Eyes" a beatific piano tude that recalls Brian Eno's Music For Films. 4 Stars.
Ambientrance
As with Tear Ceremony's previous releases, Emulsion strikes the same vein of twisted and moody sonic experimentation with equally astounding results. A sonic will-o'-the-wisp, luring listeners into an unordinarily magical,and possibly somewhat ominous, environment of almost recognizable audioforms. 9 out of 10.
