A Discovery.......2002-10-24
A friend emphatically recommended this album to me knowing that I am a relative new-comer to the Electronic/Trance genre. I was really pleased with this dreamy, eclectic, edgy and elegant sampling of songs. In fact, it played on repeat for several hours and I was amazed at it's range and beauty. It flawlessly moves between hard beats, middle eastern infusions, tech-y industrial sound and lilting rhythms. I look forward to expanding my musical palette with Mortal Loom.
Exceptional Electronic Music with Depth!.......2002-10-22
I just got this new CD, Addicted to the Tragedy, and it's amazing! "Electronic" does not do it justice - it's got Trance, GOA, mystical elements, and Chris & Cosey! Cosey's voice is sensuous in the extreme. The more I listen to this CD, the more and more I like it. There is a lot of depth and the production quality is the best I've heard all year. A flawless piece of work that is very, very realized!
ADDICTED TO THE TRAGEDY (1 of the freshest this year).......2002-10-19
Mortal Loom's 3rd CD ADDICTED TO THE TRAGEDY has a more Psychedelic Tech-Trance edge with Electronic EURO fusion. Most of the tracks have dance rhythms with Middle Eastern vocals and that famous Mortal Loom ambient fusion sound. Chris & Cosey are very special guest artists on ADDICTED TO THE TRAGEDY. Chris & Cosey bring their signature rhythms and vocals to two of the tracks on this CD. Their vision and musical style are long tested and are a complement to this new CD
This 3rd CD from Mortal Loom is deep and sophisticated, new and refreshing. It is about time good music was being released again.
Keep kicking A#$ Mortal Loom & Delvian Records!
