Editorial Reviews Jinno was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, but relocated to Israel as a child. At 16 he experimented with connecting several synthesizers together. Without blowing up the house, he managed to create a series of fascinating sounds and eventually added a beat from a drum machine. Back then Trance, as a genre, didn't exist. Jiga and Jinno met in 1997 and formed "Analog Pussy". Since they had no money, or label, they turned to the underground cyber world, uploading their music online for download, chatting with listeners in chat rooms and contacting DJ's and industry representatives from around the world. They got a name for themselves on the internet before having any real world releases. The strategy paid off as they became the hottest band on MP3.com with well over 1 Million downloads of their original music. In 1998 they played live in underground events in clubs and open-airs in Israel. Conquering the local, bourgeoning, trance scene by storm. In 1999 they went out for their 'Euro SUMMER99 tour' pumping the trance clubs and open air grasses of Europe with gigs in Germany, Holland, Ibiza, Hungary and Switzerland. On September 1, 1999 Analog Pussy released their debut album - 'Psycho Bitch From Hell' – which was not a comment by Jinno on Jiga – but which was one of the best selling albums on the International trance scene. Soon enough Analog Pussy and the 'Psycho Bitch From Hell' album became the most talked about phenomena in the scene. Analog Pussy brought a new wind to the trance scene with a very powerful, colorful and energetic LIVE show and the most uplifting trance music that the music scene had ever heard. 'Psycho Bitch From Hell' release parties took place in Germany, UK, Switzerland, Hungary and Israel. In 2000, Analog Pussy moved their base activities to Germany and started the 'new sound' of Analog Pussy - Progressive groovy tech-trance - which was introduced on compilations, 12" singles and finally their second album "Underground" released in 2001. Striving for independence they formed their own record label in 2002 - AP Records, and began releasing compilations and 12" singles by many other artists from all around the world as well as continuing to increase the international popularity of Analog Pussy. In 2003 Analog Pussy decided they are going to create something completely new, but without compromising the true sound of trance. It was a challenging and stimulating voyage of 2 years. The result was a wonderfully innovative Trance record mixed with High Voltage Rock -N- Roll, lyrics & vocals in English, Spanish & German, combined with live instruments; Cello, Bass Guitar, Electric and Acoustic Guitars, sitar and Percussions. Rounding up to an organic and powerful new evolution of Trance music - The 3rd Analog Pussy full album, "Trance N Roll". In 2004 & 2005 Analog Pussy have been playing their ground-breaking new material with a great success world wide. They revolutionized and set a new standard in trance music. Tracks like Trance N Roll, Psycho Punko, Osterstrasse and above all Future are true hits. About the Artist
Analog Pussy are Jinno + Jiga. a boy-girl trance duo from Israel now residing in Germany. Jiga, the girl half, cut her teeth playing in Israeli punk bands. Desiring to show a broader range of talents, she began experimenting on her own with her bass and later bought a synthesizer. Finally she added a computer and a four track and began producing her first electronic trax.
