"Mono Prix" was re-mixed by Steve Osborne (Perfecto), whose recent work includes New Orders' latest album "Get Ready" and tracks by Doves, Elbow, U2, Placebo, and PJ Harvey among many, many others. The single was recorded and produced in France by Nina and David Odlum. "Mono Prix" also comes with some pretty amazing re-mixes; Jimmy Behan (Kin Recordings) and Dave Donohoe (D1 Recordings) both take turns at twisting the song in different directions and creating entirely different atmospheric landscapes. Both remixes are truly beautiful in their own right. The accompanying video for "Mono Prix" was produced by hip animation company D.A.D.D.Y. and should see the light of day on the Reverb Records website very soon.

At last it came, the first thing we've heard of Nina since 1998's "creation" (not counting "can I sleep now?" ep)
I popped in the cd with superhigh hopes and I cant say I was dissapointed.
Mono Prix is a rocking popper of a song with a chramingly strange chorus, perfect for a sunny summers day.
This song is definetly up there with "this magic stuff".
The two re-mixes of the song that follows (entitled "time" and "music") are both strange, good and clearly diffrent from each-other. Though time is the best a quirky maracaas does its best to spoil the mood, being put totally off beat. A bit annoying but once you get used to it you dont really mind.
The single is released as a digipack with a killer cover and artwork, a definet buy.
