Kenning 12 / WAY - the audio edition [Explicit Lyrics]

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Small press literary magazine Kenning and underground music label Grimsey come together to present 3 generations of authors and artists on 2 compact discs. Kenning #12 features the first audio publication of renowned poet Leslie Scalapino's book WAY, a long serial poem by the same name. Also featured are exclusive recordings from Beat Generation legend Allen Ginsberg and underground avant-pop sensation John Crozier (under three different pseudonyms). Experimental percussionist / composer Gerry Hemingway teams up with poet Andrew Levy for a stunning live recording from their 1990's collaborations ... one could go on attempting to describe this uncommon and therefore compelling compilation. We'll leave that work to you.
