      Norwegian bubblegum dance group Sweet & Sour deliver the goods on "Yummie", an aptly titled album of cavity-inducing pop and dance tracks. Sounding like an offspring of Ace of Base and Aqua, this trio provide a fun album that captures the best of Euro-dance. The Ace of Base sound is especially prevalent on tracks such as HELLO(#11), which is a more raggae-influenced pop song, while songs such as ROMEO & JULIET(#12) have a sense of Aqua or fellow Danish group Daze. This very pricy album may scare off potential buyers who don't want to shell out so much cash, but let me just tell all you fans of this type of music that the price can be forgotten once you sink your teeth into this sugary-sweet confection. With songs like AY AY AY(#2), BUBBLEGUM(#3) and STORY GOES ON(#10), I can't imagine not having this record. Each consecutive song seems to top the next one in terms of quality, as STORY GOES ON is my very favorite song on here. It is a nonstop, energy-injected track that goes on and on. "Yummie" is one of the best and most consistent of this genre released recently, which is greatly appreciated by us fans who can't get enough. This is the Japanese version of the album(hence the ($) price tag), and also contains three bonus tracks which are different versions of the song BUBBLEGUM; however, the original is still the best as far as I'm concerned. This is a highly recommended album that is childishly enjoyable and a lot of fun.

      I recommend this cd to people who like bubblegumdance;sweet eurodance with great songs,and yes,they are a bit childish,but that makes it even more funny!It's absolutely worth buying,this album will give you a lot of fun!

      This record was really a surprice! First I thought oh no another Aqua - look a like but.... not! This is fun for the kids, adults and even for granma. I recomend this record to all the party-people around the globe! Get it!

      This was Roshell Anderson's strongest and most satisfying CD. His truly superior cover version of The Independents' major 1973 hit "Leaving Me" justifies buying the entire CD but "Dearest Darling", "The Chokin' Kind", "You Wouldn't Believe" and the bluesy "Stop Doggin' Me Around" are nice tracks which allow Anderson's rural/country-flavored Soul vocals to take center stage. Highly recommended ...if you can find it.

      Wow! The 2 tracks on here that are essentially released as B-sides should've gotten the royal treatment by being released on the album "Plastic Fang". I can think of a couple of tracks they could've bumped to make room for "Maureen" (which is a big and noisy gem) and "Alex" (which is as funky as anything JSBX has cut to date).

      These guys never disappoint. If you want a taste of them, try out this mini-CD or get "Plastic Fang" (by far the most accessible of JSBX's catalog). Then move on from there to uncover the layers of this really original, fun, rockin' band.
