Controlled Fusion has been recognized as one of the key players in the new European underground scene for a number of years. The band is the expression of programming specialist Steffen Schuhrke and vocalist Dennis Ostermann (In Strict Confidence). Their patented combination of hard driving beats and abrassive vocals will help them have an immediate impact on dance floors throughout the country. Album Description
Originally conceived in 1995, Controlled Fusion is a joint project between Steffen Schuhrke and Dennis Ostermann (In Strict Confidence). Their blend of driving beats, mechanical manipulations and abrasive vocals are sure to leave you begging for more. Tracks such as "Follow Me" and "Light Me Up" are packed with energy and bite and will have an immediate impact on dance floors throughout the world. Other tracks including "Drugfall" and "Psychological Way" show the more intricate and melodic side of Controlled Fusion. As a whole, Patient Zero creates a harmonious blend of high energy techno, aggressive electro and melodic soundscapes. Controlled Fusion is a combination, blending the sounds of yesteryear with the modern day progressions. Patient Zero is the second domestic release from this german duo and also contains a guest appearance from Fabricio Viscardi (Aghast View). They are truly a front-runner in the development of a new underground. Controlled Fus! ion will appeal to fans of Frontline Assembly, In Strict Confidence, Wumpscut and Funker Vogt.

    I bought this CD on a lark. This one grew on me. It is an Industrial CD but there is enough solid musicianship to make it relistenable for me. A little heavy on that High Hat at times, but still a great spin!

    Controlled Fusion does it yet again with an album reflective of earlier works (Hidden Thoughts, Disregards) Heavy floor shaking beats with a solid dance foundation. Truly what Industrial music is all about.
