From the Other Side of the Window [Explicit Lyrics]

About the Artist
Practically Einstein was formed in May of 1997 when Brad Pugh (guitar/vocals), then a solo artist, put an ad in a Washington DC area magazine. Brad struggled to find fellow musicians in the area who enjoyed performing rock music with an unabashedly pop sound. When he finally crossed paths with Dave Moran (drums/vocals), and Paul Schmidtke (bass/vocals), a perfect match was made. Although the road to musical success has been anything but easy, the three, all transplants to the Washington, DC area, (Brad hailing from Charlottesville, VA, Dave from Ann Arbor, MI, and Paul from New Orleans, LA), have been enjoying a steadily increasing and diversifying performance schedule, having played as far north as Boston, and as far south as New Orleans. The group remains devoted to the idea that there is always a place for good songs in the industry. In August of 1998, Practically Einstein released their first independent self-produced CD, I Want To. After receiving strong positive feedback, Practically Einstein returned to the studio, this time with co-producer Rich Isaac (SR-71, Cowboy Mouth), and recorded the follow-up to I Want To at the world-renowned Cue Studios. Their second CD, From the Other Side of the Window, was released on February 16, 2002, to a sold-out crowd at Arlington, VA's prestigious Iota Club.
Album Description
The second independent release from Practically Einstein, an Arlington, VA, based trio, will undoubtedly find its catchy sounds in regular rotation on your CD player. Showcasing diverse pop/rock songwriting talents, From the Other Side of the Window moves seamlessly from the aggressive power of "Faithful Boy," "Endup," and "Magic 8-Ball," to the atmospheric moods of "Disappearing Act" and "Other Side of the Window". Co-produced by Rich Isaac (who has also worked with Cowboy Mouth, SR-71, Everything, and Outcast), Practically Einstein's latest release once again displays their affinity for strong, hooky vocals, with intelligent lyrics. Now is your chance to get the sounds of a band that soon everyone will know.
