About the Artist
Anchor Tatto was founded by David Knowles and Daniel Fisher in 1996. For the past year and a half the band has held a regular gig at Brooklyn's Great Lakes bar, bringing in friends from the bands Clem Snide, Luna, Champale, Koester, Nada Surf and others for opening sets.

Album Description
Evocative soundtrack music for films that haven't yet been made. Andrew Innes and David Knowles (the horn section from the New York group, Champale) team up with Dan Fisher and Gene Cawley to produce a strange mix of tunes and textures. Champale front man Mark Rozzo contributes key cameos on guitar, and a stunning bossa nova vocal on Diorama Brasil. Influences range from Arto Lindsay to Stan Getz to Felinni composer Nino Rota. Mostly instrumental. Music to watch the world go by.
