About the Artist
Born in Marietta, GA. David Newton is as well traveled as his musical influences. Moving from the south to New Hampshire, to Aspen then to Phoenix, David has fused facets of his musical surroundings. At the age of 15, he purchased his first guitar. At the urging of his first guitar teacher, David was instructed to only play The Blues on his new Fender Strat. Soon, David heard the calling of the turbulent times of his surroundings and turned toward the no boundaries of Rock and Roll. Influenced by The Beatles, Bono, and the pop stylings of Prince, David set out to make his mark on the world. David Newton and London where brought together through a chance meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. David was looking for a studio to begin recording his demo and stumbled onto a friendship that would change both of their lives. In the first five minutes of meeting, it was obvious they were on to something special.
