About the Artist
Classically trained violinist Liza Wakeman cut her rock fangs early with Chocolate USA, the band that spawned a large chunk of the Elephant 6 collective. Wakeman then moved on to the chamber of horrors trio Alva (who have two records out, one on Avant, and the other on Menlo Park). After which she helped to form November Foxtrot Whiskey (another FMMC artist). Now enjoying life in San Francisco, Wakeman has released her first solo record for the newly founded FMMC label.
