4 out of 5 stars Wild!!!.......2003-03-28

I am new to experimental music, and I'm glad I got this CD. I think it's a great intro into such ground breaking sounds.
Some tracks I enjoyed more than others, but my mind has expanded, and for me, that's the important thing!

5 out of 5 stars Impressive!.......2002-09-14

Impressive!

I am just so impressed with this album. These 21 tracks have taken me on a most amazing odyssey. I can't remember the last time I travelled to so many interesting places with music. Profound, intense and sometimes supernatural. Great disc!

5 out of 5 stars This is an awesome collection of innovative artists........2002-05-08

When I first heard the 2nd Sonicabal CD, I was amazed that
so many gifted people actually knew each other in this city.

The tracks on this CD are not even really in the same style
of music, but they are all experimental. Some have a more
typical Noise/Stockhausen sound (at least to my ears), some
have a sound collage nature, and some are more like modern classical music. There is even one by a band called The Branflakes that uses children's music and has modern dub-sound --
in spite of this description, it's an awesome track.

I would seriously invest in this CD or try to get a chance
to listen to it. It may open your eyes to what modern experimental musicians are doing these days.

  8. There's a Star, Pt. 2 [CD-single] [Import]
  9. Tiny Murders
  10. Trio of Many
