18 moving and deliberate songs from Montreal’s 2 piece band. Fearless Freep release influences from Lou Barlow and other lo-fi creations with pop overtones. Recorded entirely in their own Space City Studios sometime in 96-97, and just uses drums and guitar. Of course singer/guitarist/studio wiz Rob Stephens threw in some experimental effects, and noise, so you won’t miss the bass player at all. The CD also features a cover of the Nils’ "Fountains", which is not found on the compilation "Scratches and Needles", also on Mag Wheel Records.
