About the Artist
Her past experience includes years of playing, writing, and singing in rock/pop bands. One such band, The Heaters, was on the front line of the Hollywood New Wave/Punk/Power Pop onslaught of the late 70s and early 80s. The Heaters garnered a strong local following, ecstatic press, and two major label deals Ariola, then Columbia Records. They were described by the Los Angeles Times as A Partridge Family from the wrong side of the tracks.
Album Description
Through a succession of ensuing projects Maggie has accumulated a wide range of original material, from Punk to Boogie Woogie to 60s-style pop. She has decided to treat her tendency toward obsessive compulsion by going public with this strange assortment much to our good fortune.
