About the Artist
Her past experience includes years of playing, writing, and singing in rock/pop bands. One such band, The Heaters, was on the front line of the Hollywood “New Wave/Punk/Power Pop” onslaught of the late 70’s and early 80’s. The Heaters garnered a strong local following, ecstatic press, and two major label deals – Ariola, then Columbia Records. They were described by the Los Angeles Times as “A Partridge Family from the wrong side of the tracks.”

Through a succession of ensuing projects Maggie has accumulated a wide range of original material, from Punk to Boogie Woogie to 60’s-style pop. She has decided to treat her tendency toward obsessive compulsion by going public with this strange assortment – much to our good fortune.
