The world according to Atlanta-based DJ Lil Jon and his merry band of Eastside Boyz is one of sexually charged dance floors, masculine aggression, and 'nuff bass frequency. Bringing more heat than the cover's burning Confederate flag, the rowdy repetition and call and response on Lil Jon's Put Yo Hood Up are simple yet contagious. Like most southern DJs, Jon isn't much for rapping, but there are plenty of guests to handle mic duty: Too $hort, Ludacris, Kilo Ali, Goodie Mob's Khujo, Three 6 Mafia, and, interestingly, Brooklyn's own M.O.P. What Jon and the boyz do know are bounce-driven catchphrases--"Who U Wit," "Where Dem Girls At," "Bounce Dat" ("Bounce to the beat while you touch your feet!")--that would wear out most aerobics instructors. But with stripper anthems like "Nasty Girl" and "Live at the Blue Flame," the boyz are fixin' to work up a sweat in a whole new way. --'EL Juba

5 out of 5 stars Better when you are wasted.......2006-12-16

this music is terrible if you're in a sober state of mind but once you start drinking its great party music. lil jon and the eastside boys are kinda of like a drunken male cheer leading squad

1 out of 5 stars You eatin off hip hop and I hope you choke onthe gimmick!!!!!!!!.......2006-07-25

When are we gonna start boycotting this bubble gum pop bull S%%T! Lil john is one of the worst emtertainers on this earth. His flow is rough and terrible and he wastes beats on a regular basis. I guess all of the zombies and sheep won't appreciate me dissing this retarded muppet but someone has to stand up and say something. This album is a just like a vicious string of herpes infecting the youth of many nations. We need some hip hop penicillin like KRS ONE, Mos Def, and kweli

5 out of 5 stars Great Album.......2005-10-28

This album is a great start for BME Enterprises/TVT Records. Like all Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz albums, this one is filled with many guest appearances. Khujo of the Goodie Mob, Bo Hagon, Ludacris, Too $hort (underrated), Chyna Whyte, Big Kap, Quint Black & the Nation Riders, Three 6 Mafia, YoungBloodZ, Gangsta Boo, Don Yute, M.O.P., 8-Ball, MJG, Oobie, Sky, Kilo Ali, & Jazze Pha. This means a good album.
Here's a track by track run-down.

1)Yall Ain't Ready (intro) - (n/a) - Nothin too special.

2)Uhh Ohh (featuring Khujo of the Goodie Mob & Bo Hagon) - (10/10) - Good track to start off the album. It has a good beat and hook by Bo Hagon. Everyone drops good verses and I'm not dissapointed.

3)Put Yo Hood Up - (9/10) - Everyone's heard it. It's got a great beat and hook. The only problem is there's no rapping on this song.

4)Bia Bia - (11/10) - 2nd straight single in a row. The beat is great and the hook gets your adrenaline pumpin. Ludacris, Chyna Whyte, & $hort Dogg (Too $hort) drop great verses on the Lil Jon beat. It's perfect.

5)Bia Bia Check-In (skit) - (n/a) - Boring.

6)Who U Wit - (6/10) - Dumb song with an actual dumb Lil Jon beat.

7)Let My N**ts Go (featuring Too $hort, Quint Black, & the Nation Riders) - (10/10) - Great song with a laid back beat. Too $hort, Quint Black, & the Nation Riders drop great verses to go along with the hook. Lil Jon has a more upbeat verse that makes the song that much better.

8)Move B***h (featuring Three 6 Mafia, Gangsta Boo, YoungBloodZ, Chyna Whyte, & Don Yute) - (10/10) - Everyone drops amazing verses to go along with the great part of Lil Jon's hook. You already know it's gonna be good with these guests.

9)Heads Off (My N****s)(featuring M.O.P.) - (12/10) - The Best track on the album. The intro is one of the best I've heard and gets you pumped up for the rest of the song. M.O.P. drops great verses on a great beat. I can listen to this song over & over & over...

10)Sexlude (skit) - (n/a) - Pretty funny.

11)Can't Stop Pimpin (featuring 8-Ball, MJG, & Oobie) - (10/10) - At first, I didn't like this song and I don't know why. Now, I love it. 8-Ball & MJG drop good verses and a great hook and singing by Oobie (surprise). Listen to it again if you don't like it at first.

12)Bounce Dat (featuring Chyna Whyte) - (8/10) - Nothin too special. The beat is good but it can get very boring.

13)Nothin's Free (featuring Oobie) - (8/10) - Okay song but it just seems worse when Lil Jon puts it on Kings of Crunk as well as Put Yo Hood Up.

14)Searcylude (skit) - (n/a) - Dumb. Pointless.

15)Where Dem Girlz At (featuring Sky) - (9/10) - This song has a good beat that's similar to the one of Uhh Ohh (track #2). The hook is good and I like it.

16)I Like Dem Girlz (featuring Jazze Pha) - (8/10) - The best part about this song is that you can follow along with Lil Jon's verses and hear what he likes about dem girlz. Jazze Pha doesn't add much to the track.

17)Nasty Girl (featuring Oobie) - (7/10) - Probably one of the worst song on the album. It gets really boring after the first listen.

18)DJ Hershey Live At The Blue Flamelude (skit) - (n/a) - OK skit.

19)Go Shawty Go (featuring Kilo Ali) - (9/10) - The beat is good and you can follow along with the hook. It's a solid track.

20)Outro Chynalude (featuring Chyna Whyte) - (8/10) - It's a skit turned into a normal song. Chyna Whyte drops some of her best rhymes but it's only 2:23 long.

21)Bia Bia 2 (featuring Too $hort & Chyna Whyte) - (10/10) - It's got the same beat as the first one. In fact, it's pretty much the same song. The only difference is Ludacris isn't featured and doesn't have a verse, there isn't an intro like the first one did, & Too $hort, Lil Jon, & Chyna Whyte have different verses. It's still a great track.

Top 10 (not in order):

1)Heads Off (My N****s)
2)Bia Bia
3)Move B***h
4)Let My N**s Go
5)Bia Bia 2
6)Put Yo Hood Up
7)Can't Stop Pimpin
8)Uhh Ohh
9)Where Dem Girlz At
10)I Like Dem Girlz

2 out of 5 stars Not meant to be taken serious.......2005-10-02

This album is like a double edge sword. You really can't take anything lil john does serious. This album is just meant for one dimesional people who's life is to party. The beats is what makes people cop it. So if your lookin at it from that point of view, then this a great album. But if your like me and your lookin for true mc's who can actually spit bars then you gon' hate everything this guy puts out. I gotta give props to the south cause they know how to party, but the south is the reason why people who don't listen to hip hop say it's stupid and sounds the same. The mainstream stained hip hop's reputation forever.

    Album Description

"First impressions are everything," says multi talente Hip Hop artist and songwriter CONTAC. He should know. His much anticipated sophomore album "EEYEAYA," an independent project, is in the works as we speak.

Being that he was born on the east coast (Connecticut), raised in the Midwest (Minnesota), and dirty south rooted from Arkansas, his unique sound and lyrical weaponry is guaranteed to Blow-up. Most recently, CONTAC worked on collaboration with Atlanta's own Lil Jon & The Eastside Boys (BME/TVT Records). The song "Do Somthin" is a very crunk up-tempo song that is ready for action. Also he took a trip to California, linked up with Kurupt from Tha Dogg Pound on a song called "What's Pappin" that compliments the two MC's styles very well. CONTAC has proven that his appetite for the mic is always on starve mode. "To be or not to be."

      5 out of 5 stars A sonic mind trip........2001-11-16

The beats are hot and bumping even when they're laid back. At times I really felt like I was peeping in on a persons most personal thoughts without them knowing. Check "Get all hot" and you'll see what I'm saying. She definetly has alot to say and a unique way of saying it. Which gives me a gut feeling that she is going to be the next hot artist on the scene.
"One Sunday morning" is a standout track as well as "Wholly", and "Comfort of Chaos" but dont sleep on the rest of the record. Once you put it on, you can rock it to the end.
