Angelwing is a mix of artists from Los Angeles and Phoenix. Using vocals, acoustic guitar, piano and cello as the foundation for their songs, Angelwing blends new age sounds and classical orchestration to create a calming and uplifting atmosphere of meditation and relaxation. Originally part of the 'Lemming Shepherds' project, Angelwing is the gentile embodiment of female empowerment- soft yet strong, loving and nurturing.

The Nymphaeum is female empowerment put to music. Inspired by the classic painting of A. William Bourgeureau, this dark and mystical masterpiece is similar in style to Enya with melodic and moody songs sung by two angels here on earth. The Nymphaeum part I through V is a symphonic instrumental lead by acoustic guitar, piano, cello and interspersed with whispers, oohs and ahhs. Haunting and unforgettable, the Nymphaeum will uplift your spirit, soothe your soul and transcend you to the mystical secret haven of the nymphs.

By chance I happened to hear one of their songs on internet radio and from then on I had a purpose - I had to find more from them and about them. Sadly this is the only CD I could find by them.

It's really a great CD. New Age rock that reminds me of a time when love was what it was all about. The track "The Calling" is my favorite. If you're a 60's child like me and remember free love, poetry, and getting in touch with yourself - you're sure to love this one.
