About the Artist
Jim Stramel, the director of The Thrillbillys, had the music of rebellion on his mind as he penned the script and cast the actors. Erin Snyder, Wes Freed, and Angry Johnny--three of the stars of the film--are performing musicians with The Shiners and Angry Johnny & the Killbillies respectively. Their acting helped shape the film--and the film helped shape their music.
