Recommended by Parents' Choice 2003, and recipient of a Dove Foundation Seal of Approval, "Wake Up and Go to Sleep" features a buoyant, upbeat opening, lively and lyrical middle tracks, and a slow-paced, sleepyhead conclusion. The CD's varied pace reflects the rhythms and rituals of babies and young children as they move through their day, providing a sun-up to sun-down accompaniment to daytime, playtime, and bedtime. Many of the recording's songs are original compositions, including "Precious One," "Jammin' in My Jammies", "and "Babies Won't Keep," by Francie Kelley, and "Ce Ce Te Na Na (Have a Great Day) by Francie Kelley, Pat Kelley and Katie Kelley.

Inspired by the tidal wave of emotion that poured over Francie and her husband Pat when their daughter Katie was born, "Wake Up and Go to Sleep" offers an unusual combination of tenderness and talent.

Francie and Pat Kelley have drawn on their wide musical expertise to give the CD a level of styling and arrangement rarely found in children's recordings. They have also backed up Francie's strong vocals and Pat's seasoned instrumentals with contributions from some of L.A.'s hottest session players.
