A Boy, A Girl and a Rendez-vous

Editorial Reviews
About the Artist
The Lucksmiths, who have previously toured with Belle and Sebastian, released six albums, and will be touring extensively in 2001.

Aberdeen, whose cover of a song by Biff Bang Pow is their last song, since vocalist Beth has joined The Trembling Blue Stars.

The Sugargliders, the much-missed Australian band who will soon be the subject of a tribute album in the U.S. This is their only previously unreleased song.

Album Description
Red Roses for Me began as a UK-based printed fanzine over twelve years ago. The fanzine’s seven issues reached a circulation of 2,000 copies, and during that time five cassette compilations and three 7” singles were also released, highlighting the best of independent pop music.

Now based in the U.S.The CD includes artists that have previously recorded for the likes of Slumberland, Parasol, Matinée, Drive-In, Sarah and Sunday along with a handful of new artists that we feel deserve wider exposure.
