Slammin' from the top.......2000-05-17

When I heard the remix of "I Hate Everybody" that kicks off this mix, I was sold on the whole set. It all rocks hard, and about two-thirds of the way through I was just shaking my head and laughing at his speed, the scratching, the complexity ... Punk-Roc's a madman, I love the tracks he picked -- I'd recommend this to anybody who likes big beats and inventive mixes with a sense of humor.

Mixture of all the good qualities of the genres he dips into. Equal parts electrryfying hip hop house thats groovy as hell with a little rapping, trip hop, and drum and bass added in. Its the most fun album Ive heard this year and is well worth the money from anyone into this kind of music. Also a fun party album that evryone will like. Buy it. If your still not convinced Mixer Magazine gave it a 9 Its expected of course as they put it out but I couldnt agree more.

Rocks the dance floor.......1999-07-06

Prima donna DJs run for cover when deejay punk roc hit town. That's what this CD touts, and it couldn't hit the nail on the head any harder. All sorts of slamming tracks mashed together, thrown in a blender and set to puree. The final track, "Tv Dinner", seems a little out of place with its slow groove, but that is a minor fault.

You've been waiting for it but wait longer.......2000-10-27

This is a great opportunity for those of you who like to hear some live recordings of the Sex Pistols with Sid Vicious but you're going to be dissapointed. The first disc is a compilation of studio recordings, a few of them are from Nevermind the Bollock's but some of them from older recordings and also a new version of Submission. There are also some excerpt from a radio interview in San Francisco. The second disc is of course, the Winterland Concert of January 14, 1978. Unfortunately, God Save the Queen is cut and all the dialogues with the audience too. Rotten wasn't in good shape that night and with all that's missing, it isn't worth it. I expect better from the Sex Files I.
