5 out of 5 stars a cd that lasts .......2005-01-08

I've had this cd for a while now, and it's powerful everytime I hear it--yeah, it'll sound cheesy to some at first, but you'll quickly realize that this cd has a lot of depth, and is an impressive effort. These guys were in high school when they made this, and it's crazy how good they are. Ben Jorgensen (Armor For Sleep) plays drums, and, so I'm told, wrote most or all of the songs. This cd is really something different for emo that I've heard--sometimes very poppy, but always interesting and heartfelt. The band is tight, and the time changes and musical prowess of this band are exceptional. I'm an old man who scoffs at a great deal of music, but I love this cd. The guys in the band, too, are great people and genuine--something rare, at least where I'm from.

    5 out of 5 stars random task.......2002-04-04

I listen to all kinds of stuff, emo, screamo, hardcore, punk..you name i listen to it...these guys blend several of the genres i just mentioned in a very tasteful manor. very catchy melodic guitar rifts, backed by inspiring lyrics with some screaming in the background.........has a very good acoustic song and some poppier sounding songs also....they will go from down beat to a soft emo melody....they are very good....i reccomend buying this cd.....

    5 out of 5 stars good stuff.......2002-03-30

Great CD, I was downloading some AFI off somebody back when Napster was still around and they told me to get songs from these guys. Needless to say I dug it alot, and that was just "The Children's Crusade" EP that I got. This album is well worth buying.

    5 out of 5 stars AMAZING.......2001-04-03

This CD is simply awesome. Everything from the Lyrics to the music is
incredible. Anyone that likes music, i feel needs to own this cd. The
Music ranges from hard to acoustic and the lyrics are very well written. This
album is a must and i give it 5 stars.
