Album Description
The debut from a very talented young inventor, producer and DJ who has everybody in Seattle buzzing. His name is qp, and he's operating - on this CD, at least - under the nom de machina Plastiq phantom. Let us just say that qp makes beautiful music, culling sounds and styles ranging from classical to middle eastern to classic drum-n-bass. The music is sometimes soothing, often daring, and is done with a sense of humor that is never flippant or too preciously clever.
