About the Artist
Anatomy of Hope has existed since 1984, seen five personnel changes and has made its home in Chicago, New York and Hawaii. Founding member and singer-song writer Kiyoshi Najita is the one member common to all the band incarnations. AOH currently resides on The Big Island of Hawaii, and "We'll Do Things Our Friends Will Not Do" was recorded in a converted barn in the upcountry ranchlands of Waimea. The group also has a self-titled debut CD that was released in 1994.

Wow, a remarkable (and long overdue) follow up to AOH's musical debut all those years ago. Anyone who isn't hooked by the very first song should consider therapy. You may find yourself wondering who the music reminds you of, only to conclude it reminds you of all your favorite indy bands rolled into one--or even more, it reminds you of the music you always thought you'd make if you'd had the freedom and opportunity. A rich, thick sound tempered by deep emotional sensibility. Two thumbs up.

I bought this CD. I like it and I would reccomend it to others. It feels mostly like punk rock with a personal and emotionally authentic feel unusal in any album. It's definetly unique and a valuable album to own. I'm very happy with it and I listen to it a lot.
