Editorial Reviews
About the Artist
Formed in early 1996, Ruskabank has been busy rocking the country with their infectious brand of ska ever since. An eight-piece band with heavy influences from just about every genre of music, Ruskabank keeps it real with tons of enthusiasm. Having appeared with such acts as Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, The Slackers, Fishbone, The Toasters and The Urge, has helped Ruskabank's potential to draw huge crowds.

Ruskabank signed with indie label 'Noisome Records' in April of 2000, and released its follow up to their 1998 album This Took Some Time entitled, I Don't Think You Hear Me, Though in July of 2000. Ruskabank continues to tour the Midwest as it prepares to start recording their third full-length album in late 2002.

I first heard the song "Cheer Up" played in the movie "Try Seventeen" with Elijah Wood and I started searching the internet for more about this group.
When I fould this CD I loved instantly and my son, a Ska lover too.

5 out of 5 stars SKARRIFIC!!!!!.......2001-03-23

In a world of music full of cookie cutter classics, a new and invigorating band emerges. The boys of Ruskabank seem to have the perfect recipe for making our feet move. Along with their "skarrific" melodies, a sense of humor. No one should miss their cover of Speedy Gonzales. Thanks guys for giving the music world hope.
