This is a band that puts out a brand of music that is original, entertaining, complex, excitng and fun to listen to. It is a CD that you can play over and over again and continues to hold your interest. Each song is different, has it's own personality and message and makes you want to hear more. I can't wait for their next CD.

Excellent, interesting record.......2001-05-03

I saw these guys in concert and they were amazing. Lots of energy mixed with melody and intricate guitarwork. In fact the musician ship is real good all around. The CD is solid as well, well recorded and conveys an equal amount of energy. These guys are an exellent post-punk-emo-core band. very cool stuff.

The Foster Portfolio is the debut CD from northwesterners One Last Thing. The style of the songs is best described as post-hardcore with a mix of punk and emo. Most of the songs are great as evidenced by their single Day at the Beach (available at OLT's homepage). The music is similar to that produced by hardcore-influenced bands such as Thursday, Derail, Cursive, and Hot Water Music.

I would highly recommend this CD to fans of emo or hardcore styles of music (as much as the two genres seem opposites of each other).

They have been playing in Portland for quite awhile and they're gonna take off. Crazy vocals, crazy instruments, crazy everything! It dosent matter if you havent heard them, you will like them. Buy it or all your friends will make fun of you.
