Four Star Explosion

Editorial Reviews
From the Artist
Big Atomic features former Catfish Jenkins singer/songwriter Wes Yoakam. The epic lyrical themes and beautiful soundscapes combined with edgy rock give this album a unique flavor that listeners of Peter Gabriel, U2, Neil Finn, Radiohead, and the Police will really appreciate.

5 out of 5 stars OUTSTANDING!.......2002-01-29

Big Atomic is a heck of a band and they put on a great live show. I first caught Wes' solo act a few weeks ago in Atlanta and then saw the whole band this past Saturday (01.26.02) and they were amazing. I would recommend them to anyone who lives in Atlanta or is just passing through, you won't be disappointed.

This music is ultra and we are wanting to know if there is a video to go with any of the songs? We ( my friend Amber) and also another friend of ours love his songs and would like a picture of him. If anyone out there has one please use this site to tell us how to get it. Thank you.

If you have not experienced Big Atomic's new album Four-Star Explosion then it is definately something that you must explore. The bands unique and eclectic sounds emerge from a group of multi-faceted musicians. Big Atomic frontman, Wes Yoakam, former frontman of Catfish Jenkins, is no less than a prodigy of the music world. Raised in a musical family, Yoakam carried his family roots on to the world renowned Berkely College of Music in Boston. Yoakam continued his passion for music at the University of Georgia, located in the small town well grounded in the music industry, Athens, Georgia. The band has recently moved from Athens to Atlanta and is gearing up for some bombastic touring in the late spring and summer. This band is a must see! Big Atomic has toured the country with a great multitude of talented acts, including: The Verve Pipe, Blues Traveler, Better than Ezra, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and many others. I highly recommend adding Big Atomic's Four-Star Explosion to your collection of CD's! Four-Star Explosion gets Five-Stars!
