Anatomically Deranged
Editorial Reviews
Album Description
The southeast's leading Prog Rock band brings home the proverbial bacon with their second release, Anatomicaly Deranged. The songs develop a rich tapestry of grinding guitars and wacky lyrics. The albun is reminicent of mid seventies glam rock with a fresh modern spin. Moonballs is the first single from Anatomicaly Deranged.

Awesome CD.......2001-03-29
I bought this Cd on a whim having never heard of the band, and was totally shocked. It just blew me away. This is the best unheard of band ever.
Spacemen imbibe Southern Comfort.......2001-01-09
I,God are as incredible on disc as they are live. A four-piece from the Myrtle Beach, SC-area, they've been around for much of the '90s and have finally got around to releasing a CD--and it's a good thing since the demo tape that Bradley (guitar, vocals) gave me is just about completely worn out.
When asked what they sound like, I usually tell the uninformed that they are the Rush of punk rock; if someone knows their independent music well, I'll give the comparison that they sound like Six Finger Satellite, Jesus Lizard and Voivod after a quart of Southern Comfort and an alien probe. Classify under space-metal/progressive/minimalism if you must.
The dueling guitar-work of Bradley and Kyle Thrash (who does vocals on a few tracks) serve to complement the each other, and often they sound like they are the same guitar, just doubled up in each channel. Patrick's bass is the bedrock, and Mark's drumming is simply breath-taking.
I can't imagine life without the music of I,God, and you'll never meet a nicer bunch of guys. I just wish they had included on this disc their quirky, spastic cover of Bad Company's "Feel Like Makin' Love".... Buy this Disc!
