Ok. I bought this album on a whim but I have to say that it is one of my favorite CDs this year!!! HalfLife's Imprinting is a musician's album full of top notch writing. It's a real break from the cookie cutter pop stuff that is all over the radio these days. But that's not to say there are no hooks. There are 13 Tracks that are each very unique. Some songs have wild, tripping guitars and Acid Fem vocals. Other songs, such as the beautiful "Collide" have all acoustic instruments and even a guitar instrumental ("Lava Lamp Hypnotist) that will make you feel light-headed. My favorite tracks would be the massive "One with the Universe", and the very identifyable "People Bother Me". Do something good for yourself - buy this CD and fix your pop woes.
