Worth seeking out.......2007-03-23

Beautiful South puts out a number of CD singles for each album. This is well worth seeking out. Closer Than Most is a great pop song with biting lyrics. Moths is a soft piano ballad. The real find is The Table. The Table was originally on Quench, but this is a live acoustic version. It's a clever song, using a table as an allegory for a relationship. The quiet acoustic guitar background pushes the vocals to the front and it is sung with quiet grace.
