About the Artist
César Raúl Anchante-Martinetti was born in Callao, "A garden in the Pacific Ocean", as this Peruvian-Italian descendent calls the most important port of his Country, his beloved Perú. This talented phenomenon of the Latin-American soul won, among others, the OTI Festival 1984 and the USA's 5th Latin Song Festival in 1985, winning in both events composer and singer awards. A natural singer and song writer, Raúl started to write songs at the early age of 11 and so far has created about 700 songs expressing the same romantic sentiments that have touched the heart of his audiences in English, Spanish and Italian languages. Known as the "Millionaire Of Love" Raúl performs and signs from the heart. He resides in California since 1981. Cesar Raúl Anchante-Martinetti nació en el Puerto del Callao. "El jardín del Pacífico", como él llama al puerto más importante de su querido Perú. Peruano de descendencia italiana, Raúl es un talento innato que empieza a desarrollar el arte de componer canciones a la edad de 11 años. A la fecha tiene en su haber alrededor de 700 canciones en ritmos variados pero con la misma sensibilidad que toca el alma. Ganador, entre otros, del festival OTI de San Francisco en el año 1984 y del 5to Festival de la Canción Latinoamericana de USA en 1985 obteniendo en ambos doble trofeo como compositor e intérprete. Conocido como el "Millonario de Amor" en los Estados Unidos, Raúl ha sido aclamado en sus presentaciones por diferentes públicos, cantando con la misma facilidad calidad tanto en español como en inglés e italiano, idiomas que domina. Raúl reside en California desde 1981.

This CD focuses on the beautiful peruvian culture that not many artists can capture on a CD. His voice is truly unique and he is one of the best not-so-well-known artists i have ever heard. I look forward to hearing his future music.
