hidden gems.......2006-04-12
"Alma Matters" is a nice song and sounds good on the full length record...but the bonus tracks make this a special treat. i can think of at least 2 songs from Maladjusted that i would have gladly sacrificed as b-sides to hear "Heir Apparent" and "I Can have Both." ah well....
Excellent bonus tracks!.......1998-05-03
Morrissey wages a quiet rebellion against tradition by attaching album-worthy tracks to his singles. Like "Dagenham Dave," "Alma Matters" features two very good songs that might eventually find the audience they deserve if put on a collection...in the meantime I'll wait for "My Early Burglary Years," due out in early July.
A good CD, but "Roy's Keen" is better........1997-12-13
The best thing about this single is the song, "I Can Have Both" which in my opinion should have been put on the album. This is a good CD, but I much perfer the, "Roy's Keen" single, which has been released in the UK. END
Great single, Morrissey's best b-sides to date.......1997-12-04
It's crazy that some of his best songs are hidden on the backs of singles. But it gives us devoted fans an upper hand on fans who only buy albums END
