Tech-Trance Has Taken Over!!!!.......2000-09-10
This CD began with a somewhat usual intro nothing too exciting nothing I have never heard before, but quickly evolved in to an amazing track just moving along with super warp speed and beautiful sounds. AMAZING!!! What followed was just pure extasy. DJ Huggie's 'Sunrise in Tikal' unfolds with a nice tribal vibe and gorgeous atmospherics which just add up to the funk of it, it's quite uncertain where the track is going at the begining, but when it finally get's there, all Hell (or should I say Heaven) Breaks Loose, and take you for one of the most beautiful musical rides you have ever been, a definite highlite on the CD.
The music continues flowing along nicely thru the next couple tracks, with great production skills shown by both DJ Kam, and Stealth System whose 'Crashburn' manages to take the CD in to a Completely different direction opting for the more dark and metallic techno sound which to my taste works wonders in keeping the vibe of the CD fresh and interesting. Pyrotec's 'Evolver' continues on that darker teck-like vibe, but this time with much more of a funky underlay created by a powerful kick and somewhat unusual percusive pattern which I got addicted to inmediately. As the track moves along, it falls in to a real dark vibe, but only to reconstruct itself on to something subtle and beautiful.
The tracks to follow all continue with the surreal vibe which gloriously decorates the etire mix. both IR77 and Pure Nova turn in excellent efforts, but the CD truly starts to break ground when Stealth System's 'Prototype' takes over the mix only to be followed by a truly gorgeous 'Sky Falls Down' by Eyal who displays an uncany sence of wisdom as far as Trance Music Porduction is concerned, a true musical Gem!!. Dj Huggie continues the flow with yet another excellent production effort but unfotunately gets trapped in between Eyal's gem, and IR77's truly memorable 'Eternal' an incredibly Beautiful yet Driving Epic Romper which simply brougth a smile to my face and reminded me why I love this music so much.
In conclusion I really enjoyed this CD, while I would have liked to perhalps have a vocal breakdown somewhere along the way and a little more of the tech sound brough in by Stealth System and Pyrotec the entire mix works wonders and it's definitely tops on my current CD collection.
Highlites: DJ Huggie: Sunrise in Tikal. Stealth System: Crashburn. Pyrotec: Evolver. Eyal: Sky Falls Down. IR77: Eternal.
