Not their best, but still good.......2007-04-12
This was my first introduction to the DK's. I was born in '76, so I was way off on the timing for the whole punk scene. I got into punk in the late eighties when I was about twelve and I loved this album.
Many people say that this is their least favorite DK album, but since it was my first I still love it.
I should also admit that I had a bit of a crush on Jello, so I am not exactly unbiased.

It might be their last but its their best Think shakespeare on speed. Seriously this rocks.

I'm a big DK fan and I was pretty let down by this album. Out of the 21 songs I only like a handful of them. (Although, Cesspools in Eden is one of my favorite DK songs). This album is more for the hardcore DK fans out there. I would suggest Give Me Convenience or Fresh Frut For Rotting Vegetables for someone who is looking to purchase their first DK album.

Bed Time for Democracy is one of Dead kennedys best releases I mean in no way is this weak ,most who think so haven't read the lyrics or are too narrowminded for this. If you do not own this get it punk.

this is the worst album ever by the dead kennedys. of all the albums ever by them this one is by far. DO NOT BUY THIS YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED. BLAH im still pissed that i bought it, i was even told it wasent good but i didnt listen, dont make the same misteak i did. save your money and buy plastic surgery disasters

Bedtime for democracy is similar to "in god we trust inc." It is fast and hardcore. Some people say this this is dk's worst, but i think it is one of their best. This is dk's last studio album also.
