Sool
babysue magazine, Atlanta GA
Odd stuff... centered around hummable melodies...An interesting platter that doesn't sound like all the rest...
Pennyblack Music, London
Immensely likeable record which combines sardonic and satirical humour with a wide range of sixties and early seventies rock influences.
Album Description
When Kevin Quinn + Neal Spaulding (ex-Dead Monkeys) got together with Pete Weiss (Willard Grant Conspiracy, Doug Yule, Charlie Chesterman) at Bostons famed Zippah Studio, a fantastic + strange collaboration ensued. Linking bizarre yet beautiful pop with weirdo found sounds, they created a twisted album in the spirit of The Monkees Head + The Mothers of Inventions Were Only in it For the Money. As the album notes say, Behold the glorious enigma of rhymnatic assonance! For within sound lies mankinds multiplicity. Confused? Dont be. Just be sool.
