CLOCKBOXs story begins with a split-second decision based on instinct, enthusiasm and the kind of risk-taking thats contagious.

In the first meeting of all five band members - each of them eager for a band they could sink their teeth into. One of the guys commented: Were here. Its time. The phrase perfectly embodied the groups vision for the new band. They immediately committed to making the band a success, adopting CLOCKBOX as their new name.

Since that first meeting, CLOCKBOX has turned their vision of success into undeniable reality. With maturity and talent born of experience in the local music scene, CLOCKBOX insisted on honest, heartfelt music completely written and composed by the group. Each son stemmed from the frustrations, joys and experiences of the band members. As a result, CLOCKBOX music instantly strikes powerful chords with its fans - by turns longing, brutally honest, regretful and aggressive.

Self-promotion, fans and their unique brand of mental music helped CLOCKBOX explode onto the Chicago music scene in May, 1999. CLOCKBOX quickly earned several gigs at famed Chicago clubs (Double Door, the Metro) and took to the stage with local acts as well as major label artists. They also played in a sold-out Q101 FM show at the Metro in January, 2000.

As their following has grown, so has the number of CLOCKBOX T-Shirts worn proudly at each gig they play. Band members now take to the stage amid chants of J.L.M., Sick, Corndog, and Tick-Tock - several crowd favorites. Onstage, CLOCKBOX displays the energy and determination that has pushed them to the forefront of the Chicago music scene. Highly emotional performances by each member and racing emotions behind each song result in CLOCKBOXs unforgettable, dominating stage presence - and a great time for every fan.

I purchased this CD the second time I saw Clockbox live in Chicago. Clockbox puts on an amazing show, and this CD proves that they can carry their energy over into a recording studio. I also own their first CD which I bought the first time I saw the band play. I thought the first CD was a great, but it is nothing close to the musical genius of this follow-up effort. I would reccommend this CD to everyone, and I would also reccommend that everyone try and catch a Clockbox show if that is possible.

Their style of music is cool as hell and keeps you addicted. I listen to the cd's everyday and i will never get sick of it. CLOCKBOX is one of the best bands i have ever heard. I have the cd which i bought at a live show. They are one the most talented bands I've seen. They deserve so much more than playin at fireman's hall in WV. They are great guys you can just walk up to them and talk to them. You should buy this cd, so you can see for yourself the talent that lies in that band.

Their latest cd just rocks. I have heard all three. I can definetly hear an improvement on their latest cd. Members of Clockbox are talented individuals, yet talented as a group. I recommed to anyone is to go see them play live. Once u see them play live, u want to keep coming back to see them. They are addictive band. I'm not just saying that because I'm friends with them but they are awesome to see. Everyone needs to meet the band and hang out with them. They are down to earth. They will treat you like special person. The music is great. The sound is awesome. Stage presence is the tops.
