This is a really fabulous collections of songs. There is a great balance of old and new. This isn't a collection from one single genre and the diversity keeps the mix interesting. It's great to hear songs that wouldn't normally be noticed while a movie is playing and it's also great to hear those easily recognizable tunes from popular movies.

In this age of music file swapping and sharing, I still like to have the actual disk as I did in the 60's and 70's with LPs and 45s. I also had 8 track tapes and cassettes, but to appreciate a band or group and understand their message, you need liner notes, and artwork.

This cd is somewhat rare, and I also have another single by RATM: Bulls on Parade, that must be rarer still!! If something is hard to find, or discontinued, it is a collectors item!! Filesharing, swapping and downloading is vaporware!!

I purchased this cd for the title song, Killing in the Name, but as it is with other maxi-singles, you also often get unreleased or alternate versions of songs that are not on the cd it was taken from.

i just want to start out by saying i am a huge rage fan. but 24 dollars for 3 songs? youve got to be kidding me, you can buy live and rare and get the other 2 songs on this cd for less than 20 dollars! lower the price to 4 dollars and only then i would consider buying it

This cd may not be packed with songs but for a single packs a good punch. Killing in the Name and the two b-sides,also on Live and Rare, flow soo nicely with each other. So if your in the mood for some rage just through this disc in and take on the hard hitting Killing in... the exotic guitar of Clear the lane and finish with one of rages strongest songs...Darkness. All "real" rage fans should have this one, or not...whatever.

I bought this oneday after work with one of my friends. Since the majority of my favorite c.d.'s were destroyed something like 2 months earlyer I was forced to buy almost everyone of them again. I never knew about the single untill that day. I was told the Smells Like Teen Spirt single was at the store so I went but never found it and found theis. I took it hoe and was blown away the the other 2 songs on there. One of them is the song from the Crow soundtrack but either way this c.d. is worth the money you pay for it.

Get this cd. I am a completist(if only i had a source of income...)I think the other 2 songs kick.I love hearing Zach use spoken word, and Darkness has some. its worth it
