About the Artist
Truus' musical career spans the last 3 decades. Born in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, she debuted as a chanteuse at the beginning of the Punk craze in 1976. After playing in a number of Dutch bands, she formed Plus Instruments, which released its first single in 1979. Most of their performances were improvised, with Truus on vocals and odd electronic intruments – the odder the better. Muzotica was originally released in July, 2000 on a cassette tape. Truus' first Exotica experiment, this CD was created specifically to create a mysterious ambience for a Luau or Tiki Lounge.
