About the Artist
Truus' musical career spans the last 3 decades. Born in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, she debuted as a chanteuse at the beginning of the Punk craze in 1976. After playing in a number of Dutch bands, she formed Plus Instruments, which released its first single in 1979. Most of their performances were improvised, with Truus on vocals and odd electronic intruments the odder the better. Muzotica was originally released in July, 2000 on a cassette tape. Truus' first Exotica experiment, this CD was created specifically to create a mysterious ambience for a Luau or Tiki Lounge.
