About the Artist
The Reverend Mary Azima Jackson is an interfaith minister with a Doctorate in Ministry from University of Creation Spirituality and a Masters from Yale Divinity School. She is certified in psychosynthesis, a transpersonal healing modality. She teaches dances of Universal Peace. She is versed in music both of the East and West. She has studied North Indian sacred music with Sri Karunamayee and Western music with Master singing teacher Marie Traficante. She is certified as a teacher/leader of Music for People, an improvizational music organization directed by well known cellist, David Darling. Azima's emphasis is on spiritual guidance, healing, and creative expression through music and meditative movement.
