Every song has something to recommend it. Better, I can pay (The Starshine EP) one of my highest compliments: When the record was over, I was happier than before Id put it on, and immediately listened to it again. Lanes a talented songwriter with an instinct for the pop hook, and his tunes are well stocked with sunniness.
About the Artist
Mike Lanes songwriting and guitar-playing have earned him accolades from Baltimore (his hometown) to New Zealand. Following the demise of Sunday Cannons, a mainstay of the Baltimore/Washington, DC post.punk scene, Lane moved to Minneapolis and dedicated himself to writing the best songs of his life. Seven new tunes from the Mike Lane songbook. Expertly crafted pop for the discerning masses yearning to breathe free (and sing along). Fly free and far away from the methodical, the hum-drum, the drab and dreary sounds that have your ears dreaming of hearing something fresh and compelling.
