About the Artist
pamelasuemann has been performing since the age of four...a graduate of the world renowned Berklee College of Music, pamela's credits include recording, international touring and television appearances with Arista Records recording artists "The Real McCoy", as well as television, recording and touring with her own project and newly formed label, "Cosmic Kin Music". Pamelas song, GUILTY (pamelasuemann)has been included in a Jean Doumanian/ Sweetland film, "Story of a Bad Boy", which premiered this year at the New York Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Pamela's first release, pamelasuemann was engineered and produced by legendary producer Kevin Killen and Gerry Leonard (spookyghost.com), whose collective credits include Laurie Anderson, Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, U2, Elvis Costello, Duncan Sheik, Paula Cole, Donna Lewis, Jewel...to name a wee few, with further genious and support by bassist/ composer/arranger Paul Bryan (Merrie Amsterberg, Aimee Mann) Byron Isaacs (Heather Eatman), drummers Jay Bellerose (Paula Cole Band), Matt Johnson (Jeff Buckley, Beth Orton), Tim Newton (Duncan Sheik)...with further support, assistance, and kindness by Duncan SheikPaul Antonell at the Clubhouse and Randy Ezratty at Effanell Studios...mastered by Grammy Award winner Mark Wilder... Pamela is currently showcasing at venues the likes of The Knitting Factory NYC, Tin Angel, Philly, and Kendall Cafe Boston MA.

Rather than nailing her hooks with obnoxious commercial bravado, pamelas carefully constructed arrangements are delicate and mesmerizing allowing her skill of creating solid pop songs to simply offer a gentle tug at your ear. The metaphysical nature of the tonal textures offers this album a firm position in what critics have been calling ethereal pop. This album is one that could easily capture the sophisticated pop audience that Duncan Sheik seemed to define so well.
