Faithful ~ I grieve for the one who has never felt another's pain. Another Day ~ Definitely a favorite. Causing one to question every thought, idea. Touching and caressing all senses. Drawing one in to a comfort zone. Then abruptly reminding us of how quickly our comfort can be taken away. Reminding that we should not take anything for granted. Leaving one to contemplate the enormity of it all....then bouncing right into "Sorry". This is so cleverly done that it takes my breath away every time I hear it.

Sorry ~ A sassy description of finding love, being in love. Of having happiness and Harmony and the Heart ache, heart break "Oh My" of experiencing it all come crashing down around you. Only to have it try to return again but realizing the agony of all that you have been through is something that you are much better off without. "So I Ask You to Leave".

Wade in the Water ~ A delicious taste of peace and happy memories in the midst of tumultuous emotions,,,almost calming one down after the storms. Nohjj is my "Cool Waters". He has brought me back to a place of peace that was just a short time ago a faded memory, a lost hope.
Me & You ~ The hope and promise of eternal love,,,"Until the End of Time". A commitment of love and trust. A celebration of Love exactly the way it should be. The reality and realization of the powerful force pure and true Love has on Life. It doesn't have to be a fairy tale.

Come Back ~ The longing and despair,,,the misery of being alone,,,lonely for the one and only love that can fill this deep void. Analyzing the truth of the relationship and what is really important. The loss, the agony of not knowing,,,,if this one does not bring tears,,,you have never felt this way before.

Sad Song ~ This one is my favorite. Sultry, Nervy, Coming face to face with the one who has done you wrong. Being able to say the things that so often go left unsaid. An admission of the pain and what it has done to you. This song is sad, yes, but to me it is also the Nan Na NAN NA Na that we rarely have the courage to deliver. It is a releasing of the ties that bind the ex-lover to you. Leaving them to be the ones left in the reflection of the pain they have caused. I realize this may not be the direction Nhojj was leaning but this is where it takes me and what makes this song so favorable to me. Also this song takes me through the most changes, mentally and spiritually not to mention the many beautiful musical changes.

Waiting for You ~ A coming in to ones self. Realizing that your happiness is not dependent on another human being. Finding and being satisfied with ones self. Realizing it's ok to be you and not expect to be forced into any mold or any one else's ideas or expectations of whom you should be or what you should be doing. Self Love,,,it begins here!

Lullaby ~ The finality of finding peace and rest. The release. The freedom. The reorganization of being free in spirit. Encouraging. Solace.

Nick Cave Bares It All....Again........1999-11-23

Nick Cave lets us see inside his thoughts once again. For those who enjoyed the Boatman's Call, this will do everything but disappoint you. He blends his post-dark and pain filled music with his deep and emotion filled voice perfectly. This is a definite for any Nick Cave fan. It includes two unreleased songs, and an unreleased version of Black Hair. For those of you who have read his book, King Ink 2, and wonder where to find some of the songs that he had written the lyrics for, look no further. Come Into My Sleep and Babe, I Got You Bad display Nick and the Seeds at top notch performance. If you are looking for other songs that are the Boatman's Call sound, check out the Into My Arms single. It has two unreleased songs as well(Little Empty Boat and Right Now, I Am -Roamin).This can also be purchased from Amazon. If you are in the United States, then you know how hard it is to find Nick Cave affiliated music. The bottom line is that any Nick cd is good and this cd will only strengthen your opinion of one of the most creative musicians and poets of the contemporary period.

This is a great Single.......2003-08-07

Bowie's cover of Neil Young's "I've been Waiting for You" is simply great. Bowie rocks like he hasn't for quite some time during this song. Impressive guitar, voice, and drums bring this song to life. "Boys come Marching" is also great, but it's much more slow and somber, it's not available on the Heathen album, and is a good justification for buying this single.
