Album Description
Something Different, by LOST AND FOUND, is a collection of nine new songs and quite a number of surprises. There are eighteen tracks on the CD. Each of the nine songs is recorded with just the usual unusual LOST AND FOUND sound and nstrumentation. Then each song is recorded again using a few more instruments and the help of some of Michael and George's friends.

The songwriting is classic LOST AND FOUND. Relevant and Biblical. Clever and catchy. And it ranges from touching (Your Memory) to anthemic (Everybody in the Whole World Matters) to funny (Saskatchewan).

The CD is produced by Jonathan Rundman of Saltlady Records.

Good But Short.......2007-06-05

Akira Naito plays all the music on this album, and it's pretty good stuff. The guitar work is some solid thrash, with a melodic and/or groove metal feel at times, mixed with some synthesizing. The Japanese touches to the album gives it a different flavor than your typical thrash album. The bulk of the vocals could best be described as a mix of hardcore and clean singing, though there is also some straight out clean singing, and a few death metal growls. The vocals are pushed to the back somewhat, which might be a plus for some as the vocals on this album are probably an acquired taste. The album is only 17:51 long, so basically it's an EP.

The first song, "Flace on the Ice," is mostly a mix of synth, softer interludes, and solos. The second song, "Insane," has some good thrash riffage and solos, and is probably one of Colourfast's best song. The third song, "Mirage," is another song with some good riffage, though this one has a more moderate pace. The fourth song, "Wings of Steel," picks up the pace again, with some solid thrash.

Counter Blast is thrashier and less melodic than "The Art of One," though I think the latter is a better CD overall. Still, if you're into the thrash/melodic metal genre, I'd recommend this album.

Fans state "Your Music is Completely Different." They also say, "Combo Stylie is refreshing and entertaining." Therefore, her debut CD is entitled "Something Different." It was released in February 10th, 2005.
