The songs were originally recorded as part of a much larger and much delayed project in Winter, 1997, so Goodness decided to put out a shortened record just to give a little something to patient and supportive fans.

I have heard many artists who try to write simple, straight from the heart pop songs in the vein of Paul Westerberg and Tom Petty, but few can pull it off like WAZ. These songs have hooks that will be stuck in your head for days. It's catchy rock n roll with no BS! Buying this CD will only make your life better.

This is a call..........1998-06-13
This is definitely one CD that has earned a permanent slot in my CD player. The pure talent of Goodness shines through in this second release. Carrie Akre's diverse vocals range from powerful, earth shaking to pure and sweet. Danny Newcomb and Garth Reeves both know how to work their guitars, while Fiia McGann harmonizes on vocals and lays down some sweet bass lines. Chris Friel completes the Goodness package as the drummer, and really keeps it all moving! Buy the CD, and catch them live if you can...one listen, and you'll be hooked.

It took over two years for Goodness to follow-up their debut CD, but the five song ep was well worth the wait. Throughout the record the amazing, passionate and versatile vocals of Carrie Akre are the highlight, although even she at times has to step it up to compete for the spotlight with the stunning guitar work of Danny Newcomb and Garth Reeves. Chris Friel holds things down tight, with his artistic and powerful drumwork, and Fiia McGann kicks in a purely rhythmic bassline and absolutely beautiful backing vocals. The CD opens with Pretender, a fast-paced pop song highlighted by the beautiful melding of lead singer Carrie Akre's powerful, resonant and emotion-packed vocals with the mysterious, playful and wispier vocals of backing vocalist and bassist Fiia McGann. Lost is a pulsing rock ballad, co-written with former Heartbreakers drummer Stan Lynch, and is a highlighted by the pure singing talents of Akre, as well as the exceptional guitar virtuousity of Danny Newcomb. The pace picks up with Anthem, which is just that, a celebration and "call to all" to "make some sound." The contrasts between verse and chorus in this song are stunning, with McGann taking on an almost co-vocalist role alongside Akre. Track 4, Queen Gasoline, starts out with a lull, but smacks the listener hard with a guitar laden chorus. Akre performs both at her softest and most intense at various points in the song, and kicks in a third guitar part as well. The three-guitar breakdown at the end leaves you gasping for breath. Finally, track 5, Hypercool, is a short, 2-3 minute fast as lightning rock song, featuring strong rock-riff action from Garth Reeves and Danny Newcomb. Goodness has been too-long unknown in the rest of the world, and as much as Seattle loves to hold onto her little secrets, this one cannot be contained much longer.

I have never heard of this artist until I attended a function that played one of the tracks from her album. That was it!!! I had to have a CD of my own. You must listen to the gift of ministry in song through this artist!! All of the tracks are good!! Especially, title track Changes and My King. I listen to the album everyday, humming the tunes, hearing the songs over and over. What A Blessing!!-If you havent heard this album, you have cheated yourself out of hearing an annoited, gifted artist. I hope she cuts another album soon! Nina S.(Illinois)
Changes--for real!.......2004-03-18
I first heard Mrs. Travis minister at a singles conference. The presence of the Lord filled that place. I HAD to purchase
the CD! Once I arrived home, I put the CD on in my room and
left for a second. When I came back, I sensed the presence of God in the room. I immediately began to worship the Lord. All I can say is that Mrs. Travis is truly and anointed vessel of God. Jesus is glorified through this album and people will experience ministry by God's Spirit.

This CD is one of my favorites/ I put it on and put it on repeat and allow the glory of the Most High God come in. It is well worth the money. It will bless you. Buy it an dallow God to change you while he ministers to you through His psalmnist, Lajune travis.

Life is full of changes! There's no way around it. So, if you want to experience life's changes with great peace and confidence, then you must get LaJune's CD, CHANGES!! Each song is so powerful in it's ministry to the spirit and the soul. You will sense the Presence of God right there with you! My absolute favorite cut is "Changes" and then " Glory to Glory", oh, and then there's "Soul Cry"...oh and I can't forget "Send Your Anointing" oh, and yes, "My King"... Okay, so the entire CD is incredible!! You will be totally "changed!" :-) LaJune is utterly anointed of God!!! Glory to God!!

Send your annointing is simply wonderful. It takes you into a place of worship. This CD ministers to my soul. I have gone through numerous situations in my life and this CD has helped me go through them. She has a soothing tone. This is the CD to get if you want the manifested presence of GOD and want to go from Glory to Glory.

I saw Harrisen play at a small place in the village a couple years back and was floored by his amazing music. He's an extremely talented musician, has an amazing voice, and he's really really HOT!!!!!!! He plays that kinda music that just makes you feel good.
I just got this CD from their website and it's definately a must-have. It only has 5 songs on itPick it up and you won't be disappointed.

I saw Harrisen play a small place in the village a while back, and I've been waiting to see him re-emerge! I purchased the album and was reunited with that amazing sound I heard 2 years back. Not only does Harrisen have the amazing ability to play any instrument, he also has a killer voice and is really really HOT!!!!!!!!
You have to pick this one up................There is no way you will be disappointed!

well put together album, easy to listen to. Hopefully a full length lp is in the works. Pretty incredible for a first release. You really need to buy it and hear it for yourself.
