Great plan, but don't go through amazon.......2006-04-05

This is a great cell phone plan and cingular has solid service. However, don't purchase the plan through amazon.com.
I purchased phones and it took a week before they were shipped because amazon.com contacted me asking for information which it passed on to verizon, instead of verizon contacting me directly. Unfortunately I was paying for the service during this time. It was also very difficult to get a refund; I had to call several times to straighten out the mistake on amazon.com's part, and only succeeded after finding a number for amazon.com that I got from a third-party website. It's just too much of a hassle to go through amazon.com. Also, if the phone breaks and it's from cingular directly, it's easier to go to a cingular outlet than to call amazon.com for help.
