A maximum SXGA resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 and 0.264 mm dot pitch combine with a 700:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits of brightness, and 16.7 million colors to provide detailed, true-to-life images suitable for a wide variety of home and office uses. With a small 16.6-by-8.7-inch footprint, the F-419 fits easily onto any convenient surface and is also wall mountable, freeing up desktop space completely. 170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles provide a good range of visual clarity, while the hard coating (3H), anti-glare, and anti-static screen treatment helps cut back on harmful reflections and the resulting eyestrain.

With the onscreen controls, you can adjust a wide variety of monitor settings including brightness, contrast, H/V position, H/V size, color temperature, and more. Yikes support is indeed nasty.......2006-09-02

I had one of these for 2 years that was great. I bought a second for dual display and the new one is terrible. Its contrast is too high no matter what. Theres no midtones. This is completely different then the older one I have which is quite good ... I mean WAS quite good. The 2 year old F-419 now power on for one second then goes black. Support has yet to answer my calls or email after one week.

I'm not impressed at all with the new F-419 I bought and since the old one is now dead after 2 years use I have to give Neovo a failing grade. If they answered email or returned phone calls they might save themselves headaches.

I see another Amazon user is having the same problem. Interesting. Neovo would then know what the problem is. To bad they make it impossible to contact them to deal with it.

Nice Monitors but Warranty Support is NONE!!!!.......2006-06-14

I have purchased four 19" lcds and one 15" lcd from Neovo and had my first experience with their warranty support for USA. It's nonexistent from what I have gathered. I've called the 800 number for California about 10 times to only get one guys voice mail box everytime which tells me the support department has one person. As his message states I've left my phone, email, and description of issue but have gotten no phone call or email after three weeks. I followed up with an email to support@neovo and have gotten no response after two weeks. And I filled out the online request for RMA but have gotten no response after one week. My first years warranty will be up at the end of June 2006 and I can't get anyone to talk to me. My one 19" display which is a different model than this one has been fading to black every time it's turned on. The picture is there for about one second each time you press the power button. I'd steer away from Neovo for lack of support. I'm an IT manager and I have dealt with ACER recently who fixed my lcd woes during a single phone call. Of course, they answered the phone and talked to me.

Great bang for the buck..........2006-01-09

I not a graphics artist or avid gamer so my demands are modest, and the F-419 has been great so far (couple of months). The screen doesn't tilt and whatever, but that's fine because I knew that before purchasing the monitor. The F-419 may not have all the bells and whistles of some other monitors, but I would have spent considerably more to get those bells and whistles hence the 5 stars - bang for the buck.

Very Cool Neovo .......2005-09-09

This is a very cool monitor for the price. I don't know a lot of technical details but I hooked it up to my computer and it was beautiful. It's a nice size with great clarity.

I upgraded from a 17" CRT to this beauty, and I'm completely satisfied. This puppy has an excellent picture quality that can't be beat for a little over $300. I've used it for gaming, net surfing and reading PDF's and I've not had any clarity or ghosting problems indicitive of some LCD's. The monitor even auto-adjusted the display parameters when I started my game(City of Heroes). That was an unexpected bonus. It was a straight up plug and play. I didn't even have to give the included CD-ROM a second glance. I run a 1.6Ghz P4 Nobilis computer with Win2K Professional and an ATI Radeon 9200SE graphics card. If you need a high grade monitor for professional imaging this may not be the monitor for you. If you are just going to use your computer for standard applications, like 99% of the users out there, don't pass this product up.
