I really liked the earbuds. Thye where very comfortable and I used them during my excercise routine almost daily. My problem is that after 3 months, one of the earbuds stopped working.

Great sound, especially if you really push them far into the ear. Comfortable, but they do have a tendency to slowly make their way out if you move around or run a lot. For the price, they're definitely worth a try.

These buds are very comfortable. Some reviewers have found them to slide out of their ears too easily, but I've had no problem so far. I am satisfied with my twenty dollars worth -- I've had several pairs of other earbuds in the past, including the original ipod, and these are comparable. When I first put them on though I found them to be a little monotone or flat sounding, but I've set my equalizer to "rock" and that seems to balance them out pretty well. The insulation on the earbud itself insulates your ear a bit from the noise, but don't expect any miracles. It's like wearing a not-very-good ear plug. But one with pretty good sound.

I suppose everyone's ears are different but these won't stay in my ear. The slightest tug and out they come. Almost useless. Too bad because they were comfortable and the sound quality seemed pretty good. But if they fall out, What's the point?

Good choice for a laptop used on the lap!.......2007-07-03

Works great, no problem with focus that some reviews mentioned. Also it is possible to just install the drivers rather then the full 100MB plus package of extras if you don't need them, just read the directions on the CD initial screens! Clip may be a little restrictive if your laptop cover is very thick or is very curved at the edge but it works fine for me and should work well on most laptops.

Nice and compact with a short cable and a carrying pouch. Convenient for laptops. The only negative is that you have to manually focus your camera. Works with both PCs and Macs (with Macam drivers - the picture in the mac is actually better). Would reccommend it.

it came out out good, as described. shipping was also fast. no complaints till now (it's been 2 months). Also the microphone with the webcam is very good, no need to use headset. It's little costlier than other normal webcams but this one is good for notebooks. Mine is HP, it fits very well on the top of notebooks so no issues of webcam is not holding up a desk or so. Also angle can be changed to give e better view. I would definitely suggest this one for those who are looking notebook webcams.

Good hardware, bad design and drivers.......2007-07-03

While I've been a devoted Logitech mouse user for seven years, this mouse leaves a lot to be desired. I was looking for a high-quality mouse that would work nicely with my XP notebook and SeaMonkey. I was quite disappointed.

Physically, the mouse is nicely made, but it's awfully big for a "notebook" mouse. It's only a half-inch smaller than my desktop mouse. The switches are nicely clicky, and the scroll wheel is very solid and spins quite well in both modes. The only mechanically downside is the zoom slider, which has a very stiff spring making it hard to use.

The form factor is also pretty good with two caveats: first, the search button behind the wheel is a stretch to reach. The only way I found to click it without lifting my hand off of the mouse was to lift the tip of my middle finger up and push the button with the base of my finger. That's an awkward move. Also, the thumb buttons are too high to be easily reached. The old design, with the thumb button near the desktop, was much better.

The killer with this mouse, however, is the drivers. They are buggy, half-featured, and generally unusable. Both SetPoint v3.1 on the CD and the latest v4.0 from the Logitech website required third-party extensions to the configuration files to enable the use of a thumb button as the middle button. Also, many of the features, such as zoom, web forward, and web back, require the driver to recognize the current application. SetPoint is very erratic to doing this. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and no amount of restarting the SetPoint software seems to make any difference. The search functionality, while nice in principle, is also crippled. Most of the search engine/web browser combinations simply don't work. Yahoo! Live Words seems to work with all browsers, and Microsoft IE seems to work with all search engines. However, use a non-Microsoft browser with any search engine other than Yahoo! Live Words, and you're dead in the water.

After fooling around with this for four days trying to get the drivers to behave, I returned it. It's probably fine if you want to use it exactly as configured by default with IE and Logitech's preferred search engine, Yahoo!, but anyone who needs a functioning middle button and prefers Google/Firefox/SeaMonkey is simply out of luck.

Great wireless mouse!.......2007-06-27

I have had no problems at all since i've bought this mouse. It's wonderful. Some may not like that it's designed for the right hand only, but that's not a problem for me. It's a great mouse and very useful.

This is a very nice little notebook mouse. It is compact but not so small that it is uncomfortable to use. The extra buttons are handy for browsing the web, but the zoom button is a little awkward to reach. To change between free spin and click mode on the mouse you have to pick it up and fiddle with a switch on the bottom, which is more annoying than the smooth wheel button mechanism on top of the MX revolution (which I also own). If you don't need to carry your mouse around much then I would strongly recommend the MX. However if you are looking for a small ergonomic portable mouse then the VX revolution is one of the best I have seen.

Underwhelmed.......2007-06-25

I have a history of being hard on mice. I click a LOT and forcefully, because most mice only last for a year or so for me. This one only lasted about 6 months. If you're a light clicker, maybe it'll be fine, but I was disappointed.

This product is beyond simple in intent. It's a one-stop solution to power adapters in one easy device. Two sets of prongs cover every country's power outlets...the flat prongs being easily rotated to accomodate slanted outlet holes. And there's a widget that stays inside the unit for use for the UK. When one looks at this device, the first thought might be, "Well, there's not much here," and that's the whole idea. In this case, simple is good. Please note this is not a power converter. Buy this, throw it in your travel bag, and you won't need another converter...ever.

this is a great adapter, but be careful of your settings (50-220v). i blew up the adapter and my hair dryer in one fell swoop! other than my stupidity, the adapter worked perfectly and was compact.

It does work in the UK.......2007-06-21

We've used this adapter in Scotland, England and France. Some of the UK outlets require you to first insert the flat plastic fork you see in the illustration photo in a vertical slot just below the two round holes before plugging in the adapter. Even so, there were some stubborn outlets we couldn't make it work in, but always at least one in which it would work.

Doesn't work for UK outlets.......2007-06-16

All of my gadgets have A US style male AC plug but can accept voltages anywhere from 110 to 240 so I didn't need voltage step down just an adapter for various European outlets. The manual for this thing claims it could be used for UK style outlets but upon arriving I found that this wasn't true much to my annoyance. Did work fine in France though.

The Basics

I bought a Satellite A135-S4527 1 year ago and my warranty just expired. I am very gentle with my laptop and the monitor went out. Toshiba tech support will not talk to you unless you give them a credit card and I have found that to replace the monitor (part alone) is $400 +. This is more than half the price of a new laptop. It doesnt make sense. So if you buy Toshiba get that extended warranty. Remember, when they sell something cheap its for a reason. Good luck

Great laptop.......2007-06-27

I purchased the Toshiba satellite laptop to replace a failing home computer. I wanted a laptop mostly for the portability. I researched various brands through web reviews and Consumer Reports and this particular laptop was rated very high in both consumer satisfaction and reliability. I had to purchase an Ethernet cable to connect the laptop to my modem, but once I made the connection, I was able to access the interrnet right away. I hadn't heard great things about MS Vista, which came preinstalled on the laptop, but I haven't experienced any issues with it (knock on wood). I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Toshiba satellite laptop - they've won me over!

Light - Full of Features - Big Drive - COOL Radar Wi Fi.......2007-06-26

I purchased this laptop at a store at the last minute. One thing that was important to me is the surface at which your hands rest to type. I had this one laptop that got so hot it would turn my hands and wrist red to use it. I tested every laptop in the place that had been running all night, like hp, gateway and sony. Others, even some in the $1800 and up price were VERY hot running the dual core processors. I can also set it right on my lap in the car traveling and it doesn't get hot or weigh to much. The keys have a nice typing touch, screen is excellent although I don't like the glare from a shiny plastic face on the monitor that disturbed others during a meeting.

My little cell phone has wi-fi and that was another thing this had with a radar sensor that will look for a signal. I had this beauty at a convetion for taking notes and people were watching this thing like a submarine depth sounder. The battery lasted about 3 hours with constant typing and everything geared down.

Vista has some cool features to it like drop shadow around the windows but it sure takes some getting used to. It plays great dvd's that we used for a tv when traveling. I notice the fan as one person was talking about but it's was very small occasional noise that is hardly noticable at all even when I was falling asleep with one hand eye on this beauty and one eye closed.

I compared this next to the Sony viao, and couldn't get my self to spend $2,000 for the smallest lightest unit. Some of the Sony units had a much hotter face plate. This is a great laptop, much better than the one that finally froze up on me and pushed me to purchase it.

I highly recommend the product, not just for the price but for a quality well thougt out machine.

Good specs, but fan is noisy.......2007-06-06

I bought this laptop a few weeks ago for [...],which was a good value. It works fine, but my two complaints are the fan noisy and the ram (2x512 sticks rather than 1GB stick, makes expansion wasteful/more costly). I'm not so concerned with the ram, since I don't require any high end processing, but with the fan, even though I use it mostly for browsing the web and watching videos online, the fan seems to turn on and off frequently (on 10-30 seconds, off for about a minute), after using it for a period of time (30 minutes to an hour). It's very noticeable and distracting. Is it supposed to be like that? Does anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions regarding making the fan quieter, or turn on and off less frequently would be appreciated, if you can leave a comment. Thanks!

Memory issues.......2007-06-01

I picked up one of these guys in a brick-and-mortar store, but ended up returning it within a few hours. The problem: the laptop comes with 1GB memory (2GB max), and the 1GB consists of 2 512MB DIMM's. So if you want to max it out (and you do, if you want to run Vista), that means you'll need to buy two 1GB DIMMs and throw away the two 512MB DIMMs that came with the system. That's too lame for words, so back to the store it went.

The bag looks good. The main problem is the lack of leather. Both faces has good quality lather - for that is looking good, but sides are made from very cheap rubber, including the phone pocket. I was a litlle disapointed, I would prefere to pay 15USD extra and to be all leather.

This is a great case for under fifty bucks. It looks professional, is solidly made, and has plenty of pockets. The space for the computer could use more padding, particularly since it has room to spare. (Don't use this bag for any computer smaller than 17".) I didn't notice any odd smell, as another user noted.

I purchased this mouse to replace my Microsoft wireless laptop mouse which was loosing connectivity and range after using it for only one year, even with a new battery.

This mouse beats the Microsoft mouse I had hands down. I tested the range across the room and found it effective, even behind cubicle walls. I like the tactile feel and the precision of this mouse better than any I've tried. This is a great wireless mouse at a great price.

i'm very pleased with my V20 speakers. no, this compact set does not contain a woofer for powerful sound, but if you are just looking for some nice clear sound from your laptop, these are great. i like to listen to "xm radio" when i am online, or even when i'm cooking in the kitchen. these speakers are sufficient to produce a rich enough sound for me. very easy to hook-up...a no brainer for the price...especially with a rebate or promotional discount. go for it!!!

I really loved the sound on these, which was never "boxed-in" like I often get with speakers of this size and shape. Logitech continues to deliver high-quality peripherals.

Fedora Linux setup on this thing wasn't instant but otherwise just too easy. I plugged it in, went to the Soundcard Detection program, changed my default soundcard to these tiny powerhouses, restarted my Amarok player, and blasted away.

Beethoven Egmont Overture. Stravinsky The Rite of Spring. Shostakovich Symphony No 4. Radiohead selections from OK Computer. The Xenosaga Soundtrack. Pirates of the Carribean.

Stellar performance from these speakers on every application I put it through. I could feel the bass through my keyboard without killing the speakers, though supposedly, adjusting the volume it so that you can shake the floor is not practical or even maybe possible. But you can hear them outside my door and it sounds just as good as my 5.1 Altec Lansing setup on my desktop minus the floor subwoofer.

These are the perfect desktop replacement laptop speakers. If you want light, portable, easy-to-use and very decent-sounding speakers, these are great. However, as noted by others, beware of distortion at high volumes due to lack of power from the USB port.

PROS: Easy-to-use USB interface, great sound, extremely light and portable, great carrying case.

CONS: Won't shake your house...Not that you would be here if that was your goal, anyway.

Good for home, not for my classroom.......2007-06-09

I was really excited to receive these speakers. I am a teacher and have the technology to run movies, etc. through my laptop, but needed more sound than the small laptop speaker provided. I really liked the Logitech V20 Notebook speakers. They were small, and the carrying case would make is very easy to travel between work and home. The price was absolutely fantastic.

I tried the speakers out at home, and was pleased with the sound. However, when I used them in my classroom, they just were not powerful enough. I was disappointed they did not give me the sound I needed in my classroom, as everything else about the speakers were top notch. I returned these speakers, and just received the Dell WL6000 120v speakers. Definitely not as portable as the Logitech, but much more powerful.

If you are looking for a compact set of speakers to use on the road in a hotel room or other small room, the Logitech speakers would be an excellent choice.

we ordered this case along with the MS cordless mouse ane love them both. we have the hp pavillion wide screen and there is plenty of room for all the accessories. it's great and a better deal than the hp case. thanx amazon...as always :-)

Nice, basic case -perfect fit for my 17" Dell 9400.......2007-06-28

You won't be able to take the kitchen sink with you, but this case has plenty of storage for your power supply, a mouse, some cd's and a few documents that you may need. The organizer section is well thought out. The zipper is nice quality as well. The only small thing with mine is that the zipper hangs slightly when turning the left corner. Not a big deal at all. Overall the construction is excellent. It's not overly padded on the bottom, but that keeps it slim. I have a Dell 9400 (same as the E1705) and for the money you can't go wrong here.

I love my laptop case! It has space for my laptop, all my cables, pens, papers, etc. In fact I tend to put so much in it, I can barely lift the thing! Great price, great value, great case!

This case was not only reasonably priced but perfect for my new 17" laptop. I didn't want a bulky briefcase looking case, just something to protect it when I transport it between locations. It has plenty of room for me to take a few files, a mouse, all the cords, and a power serge strip! The front zippered compartment with all the pockets for pens,etc. is also handy.

Great bag - bad handle.......2007-06-26

I received this bag today and its a stunner. It looks great and is just what the they promised. Shipping was lightning fast.

CONS:
I read several reviews before buying this Bag and was aware of its inherent problem with the telescopic handle (used to wheel the bag around). Lo and behold, my bag's handle/arm has the same problem. I'm sending it back for a replacement. Its unfortunate the a company as respectable as this will not correct a known problem and continue to ship defective products. Is a pain this shipping back and forth, however, all in all its a good bag (minus the problem).

I have found this to be an excellent bag. Being an avid Swiss Army Knife fan, I already had expections which, so far, have been nicely met. This product is well constructed, professional in appearence, capable of carrying a load. I use my laptop for performing concerts in a music ministy that requires carrying alot of extra items you may not normally carry. This bag has done a great job of allowing me to combine my brief case and laptop case into one bag and be more organized. I'm currently using a lap with a 17" monitor which makes for a very tight fit in the secondary attchet'when I'm only using the computer by itself, but fits fine in the primary computer compartment. The only thing I miss with this bag is a shoulder strap. There are still those times when one would be more convenient than rolling due to terran. I'm planning on contacting Swiss Gear to see if they can provide one to have installed. If you choose this bag, I beleive you will find it to meet your most demanding needs. I should also say that JR Music and Computer World on Amazon has the best price for this item.

Caution read before you buy!.......2007-05-25

So I travel for work...a lot. This bag seemed to me to be the perfect answer after using the bacpack version for a while, which was killing my back. Yes i stuff it full, it's my office on the road. Now i've gone through three of these in just over a year(purchased and returned at an office supply store). The weakest part is the extendable handle, which i haven't had too much trouble with on this slightly newer model but quickly fell apart on my previous two. On my latest version the handle is still tough to extend but the seams are coming apart and the faux leather is ripping on the front. A good idea but poor materials and workmanship. Might do the trick if you don't live and work out of it but i would not reccomend for the serious road warrior.
